Learn tips to address Cyberbullying, Trolling, Online  Predators, Social Media, Privacy, and share a Code of Conduct with your children of all ages.

The internet age has brought around a completely new model of human interaction and with that, new worries and threats. As parents, we all need to be vigilant to both support our children’s use of connected technology while understanding how to mitigate the risks of having a presence online. In this session, you will learn how children interact on the most recent social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Musical.ly, AskFM, etc.) and how to advise them on what to do and what not to do online. The presenter will share key tips on how to talk to your child about internet safety, a code of conduct for interacting online and how to maintain privacy while still being part of the internet revolution.
