Catherine L. Dupont, PMP, CSM presented “Effective Risk and Issue Management” for our first talk of the 2016 Summer Series. In the talk she outlined a methodical approach to identify, communicate and manage program risk and issues. She also shared a common set of criteria to quantify individual risks and issues. Last but not least, she helped us understand the roles and responsibilities around risk and issue management.

Catherine L. Dupont
Catherine has effectively managed projects for over 10 years in hybrid agile-waterfall project management organizations within the healthcare, financial services, and non-profit sectors. She excels in helping managers at all levels in functional departments and PMOs better understand how to perform effective risk and issue management and implement effective stakeholder communications — especially vital when complex scope, resource, or scheduling changes occur. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a previous PMI-San Francisco board member overseeing Professional Development, Catherine is currently with the Taproot Foundation as a Salesforce Implementation Account Director. She is a Certified Project Manager, Scrum Master, and a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley.
